#Superadriatica

Reconstruction of the Romagnola Riviera in the third millennium,

an analysis and an abacus of actions for the Adriatic cities of the economic miracle.

Traveling along the Adriatic coast from the Po delta to the south of the Marche region, the cities follow one another with similar characters imposed by the sea and similar types of construction. However, the different origins and specific territorial configurations have given rise to different and authentic settlements.

This authenticity is not present, however, in the parts of these more recent cities, dating back to the economic boom of the sixties. As happens in the suburbs these fabrics derive from a stratification of gestures dictated by rules, interests, economies, policies and lack of coordination that often do not contemplate the logic of quality and common sense. In the Adriatic case, this fact, accentuated by the presence of tourism, gives rise to an autochthonous phenomenon, the superfetation. This knit built characterized by a high density and scarcity of services, an overabundance of built that has gradually taken away free space.

This flaw, however, can become an opportunity for a new momentum. Rethinking the surplus, placing new activities within it, saving material and resources. Take advantage of the infrastructures of these cities already able to accommodate a large number of tourists and at the same time use the presence of many visitors as a pretext for demonstrations and creation of points of interest.

Actions that trigger the occasion to think and reinforce the identity of these places that in fact embody the imaginary described in the films of the neorealism of ties with the sea and the ephemeral that is not representative of the Romagna alone but of the whole Italy.
